Colin Thompson

Born in London in 1942, Colin now calls Australia home, having moved there in 1995 after he was invited to visit a school in Sydney for a week. Colin began writing and illustrating children’s book in 1991 and since then has had over seventy books published including novels, picture books, poetry and three adult novels. Colin’s work is packed with fun and intrigue. With subjects playing on parody and images full with objects and events, each image is guaranteed to keep you interested. He is a big fan of Rock and Roll and Old Blues and you would never tell from his images that he is colour-blind! Fun fact: the Queen of England was once spotted taking one of Colin’s puzzles on holiday with her!
